The relationship began with the complete network cabling installation for the new tower and has continued through major network upgrades and campus expansion projects.

Building a Reliable Fiber Optic Backbone

As the network infrastructure at Salina Regional Health Center evolved, we completed a comprehensive upgrade of the hospital’s fiber optic backbone. The work included both primary and redundant fiber, creating the physical cabling infrastructure needed to connect critical areas of the facility while providing an additional fiber pathway within the backbone system. The hospital’s structured cabling infrastructure was also upgraded to Systimax Cat 6A cabling, bringing higher-performance copper connectivity throughout the facility.

Extending Connectivity Across the Medical Campus

Our work at Salina Regional Health Center extends well beyond the walls of the main hospital. OSP-rated fiber has been installed from the hospital through underground conduit to connect multiple buildings across the medical campus, including the Iron St Data Center, Tammy Walker Cancer Center, Med Plaza Building and Salina Medical Arts Building (SMAB). We have also supported various other clinics throughout the Salina area.

Together, these projects have created an interconnected cabling infrastructure spanning a diverse collection of healthcare, administrative, and technology facilities.
